Estate Cleanouts

Estate Cleanouts in Calgary

A straightforward, professional approach to clearing a property — furniture, appliances, and household contents, partial or full. Priced by scope, with donation prioritized where practical.

What's typically involved

Estate cleanouts come up for all kinds of reasons — a sale, a move, a property being prepared for new owners or tenants. Whatever the reason, the job itself is usually the same: everything unwanted needs to come out, and it needs to be handled properly.

How it works

01

Photos, or a free onsite look

Smaller or straightforward scopes can often be quoted from photos. Larger estate cleanouts are one of the situations where we're likely to recommend a free onsite estimate instead, for an accurate number.

02

Approve the scope and price

Priced by volume based on what's actually being removed. Once the job scope is confirmed, the price we quote is the price you pay.

03

We handle the removal

You don't need to be present throughout, if arrangements are made and the property is accessible. We sort as we go.

Who this serves

Families, homeowners, realtors, and property representatives coordinating a cleanout all use this service for broadly the same reason — getting a property emptied properly and on a workable timeline. We handle the removal itself; for anything involving the legal or financial side of an estate, that's outside what we do.

Where it goes

We prioritize donation where practical.

Furniture, household goods, and other items in suitable condition may be directed toward donation where practical — organizations like Habitat for Humanity ReStore are among the places usable pieces can end up. More on our donation & recycling page.

Estate cleanout questions

Yes. Larger or full-property scopes are exactly the kind of job where we're likely to recommend a free onsite estimate, so the price is accurate before anything starts.

Yes, always free. For anything sizeable or hard to fully assess from photos, it's usually the better option.

Not necessarily — if arrangements are made and the property is accessible, we can often handle the removal without you there.

It may be directed toward donation where practical. Not everything qualifies, and what happens to a specific item depends on its condition and available options.
